I Wish We All Were Nude

My fanciful friend Project Matt has a knack for cluing me in on tracks that I almost always love. And during one of our iChat track exchanges yesterday, he sent me a zip of Gay Marvine‘s Greatest Mixes Fixes, which is full of amazing disco-reworks of classics from Prince, Sister Sledge, Kate Bush, and more. And since I’ve been on this whole nostalgia kick lately, it was exactly what my heart and ears desired.

I honestly couldn’t tell you much about Gay Marvine. From what I’ve gathered on the interwebs, it’s the musical moniker of Detroit-based DJ Chuck Hampton, and he has a Facebook page and a Discogs entry.
